Journey’s end

Well, not quite the end. We still have to get back to the airport. But it feels like the end, as we arrive in Dolphinchilling for our last four days before doomsday. Right from the off it feels right: right on the beach, very simple room, good vibes. Hippyish artefacts all over the shop – ok, it might have a touch of the tiktoks about it, but I’m a sucker for that. Whereas in the last place – perfectly nice, and clearly aiming for the same kind of beachy vibe – I took a total of zero pics in the four days we were there, here I had five or six before we’d even sat down. Ok, so the first was from the tuk tuk ride that brought us here, but still, you get the picture(s).

Just had a lovely dinner, in the course of which the nice man managed to organise another couple to join us on a trip to see the dolphins – yippee! We’ve been keen to go see the dolphins, but without others the cost was prohibitive. So now we’re actually going to get to go. But it also means we have to be up at sparrow fart, so this will have to do for now, along with a few pics I picked up along the beach earlier.
