Too tired to post much.
Three hours sleep followed by a mad Uber dash after the car refused to start, then the flight, then fifty odd miles of getting through and out of Turin and into the Po valley, and up, and more up, and some down, and then, ah, some more up. And then, when we arrived, the discovery that Airb&b had misled us and we still had another two or three uphill miles to go.
Then we had to get back on the bikes and cycle four or five miles each way through the pitch dark, up and down many hills, just to get a bite to eat.
Can’t remember the last time I was this physically drained.
Apparently tomorrow we start hitting the hills proper. Gawd help us.
And so to bed. And not a moment too soon.
