Funny thing, time.
After watching our last Koh Rong Sanloem sunset I said to V “It’s funny – after we’d been here a couple of days I was thinking ‘How are we going to occupy ourselves here for a week?’ Now I’m sitting here thinking ‘Another week wouldn’t hurt.'”
But that really is all, folks. We’ve to be up at sparrow’s fart to slog it back across to the other side of the island to catch the ferry back to the real world. Going to be a shock to the system, I reckon. We did spend most of the morning doing some serious booking: we’re now sorted for trains, buses and accommodation, as well as dolphins! And elephants! In fact everything up to our final fortnight, in the hills of north Vietnam, and hopefully a few days R&R on a beach somewhere up north, before (and it is for the first time starting to feel real) the big silver bird back to the rainy skies of old London town.
But let’s not think about that just now; let’s wobble off back down the beach for what might well be the best tortilla in Cambodia. Arriba arriba!
