You don’t really appreciate how much and how often you turn to it till suddenly it’s not there.
Reading (the third) Wolf Hall and suddenly ‘Mary, Mary, quite contrary’ comes to mind, and I think wasn’t that something to do with a Tudor? And half-reach for the phone, but nope – no internet.
We only get it three times a day at best at the moment – when we visit the restaurant at mealtimes – and last night and this morning it wasn’t working at all. Still, lunchtime now, and I can report another day of ‘move on, nothing to see here’. Other than ten hours sleep, supplemented by dozing in between the lazing, snorkelling, blah de blah de blah.
The sunsets are still great!
